Fundraiser

Soon to come! A friend of a friend will be making these and charging $20 a piece as a fundraiser for Todd. We will get $15 per necklace/keychain and the other $5 goes towards supplies needed. Will keep everyone updated!

Todd's Story

Todd is a lively, happy, energetic 7 year old boy who likes to play baseball, kickball, and tennis. He loves the Red Sox. He loves to play. He loves life. On March 18, 2014 he went into sudden cardiac arrest. We were in the Pediatric ICU at Shands @ UF Health for 72 days and have since transferred to Brooks Rehab in Jacksonville where we were discharged home on June 16th. He has since been diagnosed with Hypertrophic Restrictive Cardiomyopathy. During the arrest his brain did not receive enough oxygen and was therefor damaged. We are still unable to fully assess the extent of the damage, but it is severe and he will require a significant amount of rehab. We have already undergone surgery to have an automatic internal cardiac defibrillator (AICD) placed and hs had a feeding tube surgically placed. He has been a fighter through all of this and has his good days and bad, but he's coming back to us. Slowly, but surely.
